This might be interesting for some of the readers here this season.
So, hypothetically I've got £100 to spend on fireworks. Recommend me something for the ultimate in budget displays. The constraints are I want to be able to physically get it and not travel hundreds of miles, so keeping it to big chain suppliers would be helpful.

Re: Ultimate budget fireworks
I guess this depends entirely on where you are in the country in terms of which specialist store you can get to. I won’t travel any further than an hour and am very reluctant to pay for delivery as I could easily get an extra decent cake for the same amount.
My budget is around £300. Plan on getting a decent selection box (Jonathan’s), some candles and a few cakes. I used to get some enormous rockets previously but we’ve moved to new estate and like any new estate these days the houses are a bit closer together than I’d like so the last thing I want are spent rockets coming down and damaging something

The aim of this is to confine a budget to local availability, so, £100 and local major stores. We can do others later

Re: Ultimate budget fireworks
I will have to tap out of this one as budgets is something I don’t do to the annoyance of my wife
